If you have a manuscript you think might be right for Rose Metal Press, and it does not fit into the specifications for one of our reading periods, please send us a query via email, including a brief description of your project, a paragraph of biographical information, and a list of previous publications, if applicable. We read all queries with interest and respond as quickly as possible.

ANNUAL SHORT SHORT CHAPBOOK CONTEST
Each fall, we run a reading period for our short short chapbook contest. The winning chapbook is published the following summer. Entries should be 25-40 pages of short short stories, each under 1000 words. Check back in spring 2008 for the reading period and guidelines for the fall 2008 contest.
