Cover and Book Trailer for A Bright and Pleading Dagger

We are thrilled to reveal the letterpress cover of Nicole Rivas’s contest-winning chapbook, A Bright and Pleading Dagger, as well as the video book trailer for the chapbook.

Earlier this month, we gathered in Boston to letterpress print the book covers at Union Press in Somerville. Over two days, we hand-set type on a Vandercook letterpress and printed silver and black ink on teal paper. They turned out beautifully and we can’t wait to share the finished book with you in August! Check them out:

Preordering for A Bright and Pleading Dagger will begin next week and the book will release on August 8, 2018.
