The Best of Brevity in The New York Times
The Best of Brevity: Twenty Groundbreaking Years of Flash Nonfiction, edited by Zoë Bossiere and Dinty W. Moore, has been receiving rave reviews, including from The New York Times Book Review, Publishers Weekly, and Booklist!
Best of Brevity was included in the NYTBR feature The Shortlist, in a review of essay collections by Lori Soderlind. Soderlind writes: “The immersive effect of reading this anthology straight through is the opposite of a flash experience, and is also lovely, like rolling down a sidewalk of lit windows. … So much beauty, so much grief—the whole range of experiences flashing by, leaving impressions as it passes.” Congratulations to Zoë, Dinty, and all of the contributors!

A big thank you to all the reviewers who have taken the time to read The Best of Brevity and write about it!
